Catherman, If you want to go unleaded you will need new valve seats, think about of 500€ to do the conv. if you take the cil. head off yourself.
I'd say the carbs are out of balance, do not believe if they say " i did'nt touch it " the things you see for yourself is what counts, are the plugs different in color on cil. nr 3 & 4 ?
The advance of a X-flow can go to 35° BTDC @ 5000 RPM but i think it's a Sprint engine and so i would go first for 25° BTDC @ 5000 RPM
What i don't like to see are things like the different screws on the Weber carbs mostly it gives an idea of the level of TLC that the engine have received.
