Pompe À Huile Crossflow
#1

<!--emo&Voyons-->[img]http://www.forum-autoroule.com/html/emoticons/voyons.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='voyons.gif' /><!--endemo-->

A high pressure pump will give about 3- 4 kg when hot, but a dry sump oil pump is not the same as an original uprated Ford oilpump.
U can always post a wanted at blat chat to see if you can find a sec. hand sump

yes but externally ( the pump is not yet fitted ) is it possible to know if the pump is a standard, high pressure or high pressure high capacity, I have one in a box when I collect my engine, but I am not sure for the specifications !!If not a high pressure I can buy another one from burton or other.
For the sump for the dry sump installation ( I have a QED pump fitted to the engine at the moment ), I try to let an ad on blatchat, but it is hard to find even on ebay. <!--emo&Sad-->[img]http://www.forum-autoroule.com/html/emoticons/icon_sad.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='icon_sad.gif' /><!--endemo-->

First of all, a dry sump oilpump always has a remote oilfilter, there are sumps made of steel plate rather than cast ali. in fact it is a modifyed std sump pan.
Check the ref. on the oil pump witch is in the box and start to phone arround to find out what sort of pump it is, it all depends what the intended use of the engine will be but in case of doubt i would buy a new one.

In fact I have 2 pumps
-a QED dry sump pump fitted to the engine( 5 port ) , the remote filter also but the oil pan is missing( on a cat bda in GB <!--emo&:o-->[img]http://www.forum-autoroule.com/html/emoticons/icon_eek.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='icon_eek.gif' /><!--endemo--> ) and I search one but it is difficult ...I can't made a new one and burton price is high, if you can help with blatchat <!--emo&Bien-->[img]http://www.forum-autoroule.com/html/emoticons/bien.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='bien.gif' /><!--endemo-->
-For the pump in the box(not fitted, it is a burnam ford?), i think it is an original super sprint, perhaps a high pressure but not sure, and I have the baffled sump, oil cooler and all that, It is more easy for me to install this one in my engine( It cost me only the gaskets), or you are right, buy a new one..if I have a doubt.
